Our price for this incredible adventure is all inclusive. You arrive in Alaska and then let Darlene and I be your hosts. You worry about nothing but relaxing and enjoying yourself in the Last Frontier. That’s right we take care of everything but your air fare to and from Anchorage. This includes lodging, meals, transportation during the workshop, entry fees etc. We pick you up at the beginning of the week and then drop you off at the end of the week. (details below)

Alaska Adventure August 4-10, 2024
We’re proud to announce our annual Alaska adventure for 2024 our Alaska photography workshop. Darlene and Gary are looking forward to being your hosts in The Last Frontier. We have an action packed week of fun and photography including incredible wildlife and scenic landscape photo opportunities.
Our price for this incredible adventure is all inclusive. You arrive in Alaska and then let Darlene and I be your hosts. You worry about nothing but relaxing and enjoying yourself in the Last Frontier. That’s right we take care of everything but your air fare to and from Anchorage. This includes lodging, meals, transportation during the workshop, entry fees etc. We pick you up at the beginning of the week and then drop you off at the end of the week. (details below)
We’re going to be flying out to the Katmai National Park to photograph bears at Brooks Falls. We’ll be taking a chartered boat into the incredible Prince William Sound for scenery including experiencing a tidewater glacier, and hope to witness a calving, and wildlife (black bears, eagles, otters, sea lions, whales and more). We’ll be spending a day exploring alpine landscapes at the breathtaking Hatcher Pass and a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center while we’re exploring the scenic Turnagain Arm near the town of Girdwood. We also have a short hike to explore a glacier planned!!! Walk on a glacier. It’s an incredible experience.
- Day 1 – August 4th – Arrival Day
- Day 2 – Hatcher Pass
- Alpine tundra, scenery, Independence Mine, Summit Lake, sunset view
- Day 3 – Flight to Brooks Falls, Katmai Bears
- Bears at Brooks Falls
- Day 4 – Boat Tour of The Prince William Sound
- Scenery including a tidewater glacier, and the possibility of seeing eagles, otters, sea lions, harbor seals, black bears, whales, porpoises
- Day 5 – Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and Turnagain Arm
- Bears, wolves, eagles, moose and more
- Day – 6 Matanuska Glacier
- A hike to the glacier
- Day 7 – August 10th – Departure Day
As with all of our Alaska workshop the cost includes everything except your airline ticket to Anchorage. Once you arrive we pick you up at Ted Stevens International Airport and transport you to the lodge that will be our home base. Meals are included. Once you’re there you will have nothing to do but enjoy your Alaska experience. Seats are limited to eight attendees so reserve your spot today as our Alaska workshops always fill.
All inclusive includes lodging, meals, transportation during the workshop and any fees incurred for entry to locations or events planned during the workshop. Not included are personal items or needs, souvenirs, alcoholic beverages etc.
