Private workshops
Gary's workshops are more focused (pardon the pun) on the mechanics of creating the photo, but can be located at the client's preference. For those that would like to take their work to the next level, this is for you. It includes a day in the field getting the shot and a day behind the computer processing a portion of your work.
April 20-21 - Columbia River Gorge Creeks and Waterfalls Workshop
Spend a day in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge photographing its iconic waterfalls and creeks with Gary. The next day we will meet and process some of your work. Gary will cover camera settings, composing and executing the photo and post processing techniques. He will cover Lightroom and Photoshop processing depending on what software that the particiapant is using.

May 18-19 - Columbia Gorge Wildflower Expedition.
We will explore the east end of the Columbia River Gorge in search of wildflowers. Rowena Crest and surrounding areas offer amazing opportunities for a sunrise over lupine and balsamroot in the Springtime. Gary will cover camera settings, composing and executing the photo and post processing techniques. He will cover Lightroom and Photoshop processing depending on what software that the participant is using.

June 22-23 - Hood River Valley Barns and Orchards Workshop.
We will be touring the Hood River Valley photographing barns, orchards, and territorial views of Mount Hood and Mount Adams. The Hood River Valley is full of barns breathtaking views. He will cover Lightroom and Photoshop processing depending on what software that the participant is using.

July 6-7 - Night Sky Workshop
Featuring Gary Randall and guest Ben Canales
Location: Sandy, Oregon and field work at Mount Hood.
Classroom sessions and in the field instruction on how to capture and process your night sky photographs. Camera operation, capturing the shot and post processing will be covered in this workshop. Ben Canales is known for his night sky photography. His work has received awards and has been published in books and magazines including National Geographic. I’m proud to have Ben along on this workshop.
