A Close Look at My Neighborhood
I like to take my camera for walkies with Sadie and Betty. One of my favorite things to do is to shoot macros as I walk along the dirst raod that I live on. I live in a swampy forest area so I have allot of moss, and various trees and shrubs and maybe a bug or two.
I have several ways to go about this. One of my favorites is to put the 50mm f/1.8 on. Sometimes I'll even screw one of those cheap multiplier filters on. That works great. I also have an old manual Micro Nikkor Auto 1:3.5 f=55mm that I use extension tubes on. I also have a 70-300mm zoom that does a great job for things that you can't get real close to.
Below are a few from a recent walk that we took. Just a few shots of moss, bark, leaves, flowers and such. I hope that you enjoy them.
Don't forget to take your camera for a walk. :)

This shot is of the sun as it was setting through the trees.
It was a nice walk. :)
