Lost Lake is located on the north side of Mount Hood near the Hood River Valley. It’s less than an hour drive up into the hills from the town of Hood River. Because the lake is on the north side of Mount Hood you’re facing south which allows you to get a photograph of the Milky Way.
Lost Lake has camping and cabin facilities. You’re also able to rent boats to row around the lake with. The lake also has a three mile trail that circles the lake.
